Cecilia Santamarina

Since graduating from GSU Certificate Program on Translation in 1999, I have worked mainly in translation as freelance. My areas of
expertise are human resources, health, education, religion, legal and finance. I have translated / edited / proofread websites, bulletins, training manuals, training videos, language software, conference programs, economic reports, presentations, an encyclopedia, etc. My limited work in interpretation has been mostly in the medical field. I have also taught Spanish at the continuing education level as well as the corporate level. The courses ranged from basic to customized workplace Spanish to courses in translation. These past years as AAIT board director/officer and my professional experience have enhanced my life as a language professional.
