Elena Goldis

Elena Goldis was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. She holds a B.A. in English language from the Foreign Languages College in Pyatigorsk, Russia. Later, when she moved to US she earned her M.A.in International Economics and Communication from the University of Kentucky.

Elena has been a professional freelance interpreter and translator since 1993. She is a contract conference level interpreter with the US Department of State and a professionally qualified interpreter as determined by the US Federal Courts. She has interpreted both consecutively and simultaneously at numerous workshops, conferences and seminars organized by various federal departments and agencies for Russian speaking participants.

Elena is an active member of ATA and is accredited by the AAIT. She believes in the importance of promoting high-quality translation and interpreting services.
